Shelley pursued her passion for Kinesiology and earned her degree from York University. Following her time at York, she proudly graduated with honours from the prestigious Canadian Therapeutic College in 2007, solidifying her knowledge and expertise in the field.

With her extensive education and training, Shelley has amassed valuable experience working across a range of multidisciplinary clinics in both the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and North Vancouver, British Columbia. This diverse exposure has honed her skills and allowed her to develop a deep understanding of various healthcare practices and approaches.

Shelley's therapeutic repertoire is genuinely comprehensive, encompassing a wide array of techniques that cater to the specific needs of her clients. Her experience includes the art of Swedish massage, which promotes relaxation and rejuvenation, as well as deep fascial work to target and alleviate deep-seated tension. Additionally, she is skilled in applying trigger point therapy, which focuses on releasing specific muscular tightness and discomfort areas. Shelley also employs stretching techniques to enhance flexibility and mobility while incorporating acupuncture and cupping, traditional practices known for their therapeutic benefits.

Beyond her professional expertise, Shelley is an ardent runner and triathlete, which grants her a unique perspective and understanding of sports-related injuries. This firsthand experience enables her to provide exceptional care and tailored treatment plans to athletes and individuals engaged in physical activities.

During her career as an RMT, Shelley has achieved remarkable success in addressing various conditions. She has garnered a reputation for effectively managing migraines, a debilitating neurological disease, and providing relief for individuals who have fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder. Furthermore, she excels in treating back and neck pain, employing her comprehensive skill set to alleviate discomfort and improve her client's quality of life.
